Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts
Also called the Pioneer Theater Auditorium, Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts is a famous theater that was built in 1967. It was named after the sculpture of a pioneer family, which was destroyed to build the theater. The building is known for its beautiful dome called the Golden Turtle and has 513 seats in balcony and 987 on the main level. In 2005, the center was registered under the National Register of Historic Places.

Animal Ark
Located just outside the city of Reno, Animal Ark is a popular wildlife sanctuary, known for its exotic Native American animals.
